Changes of water in the aquarium: DO and Do

DO: change the water in the aquarium IS GOOD, AND 'MUST, MUST BE DONE.
How often and how much we choose it depending on several factors, first of all the organic load and the relationship with the quantity of plants. Mediamenti is advisable to change from 15% to 30% every 7-15 days.
Personally I'm pretty lazy and return on average 30% every 3-4 weeks.
DO NOT: Use water than the usual, the water exchange MUST be at a temperature as close as possible to that of ' aquarium and the same goes for the chemical values.
Clearly if you change the 5% minimum overhang will be ... but if you change 30% water MUCH more acidic or basic, then the PH it may suffer greatly, so the temperature.
DO: Use a water conditioner when you use a lot of tap water. Personally I use only 10-20%, so unless they do now for years and years ... but not everyone uses purified water.
DO: Remember to be made at least an extra water change when you have used a medicine in the aquarium, made "heavy restyling" of plants, driftwood or rocks in the aquarium (inevitably raising the dirt from the bottom), so something sovradosato accindentale (happens to me occasionally with a few bottles that do not have nozzles or dispensers, so unscrewed the cap and tilted the contents down all together!)

... And if you lift a lot of dirt from the bottom? If I do not realize that a large leaf is rotten behind the filter and has poisoned the fish, by killing? mmmm, I think you're panicked. Save on the whole while, but not on a good book with theoretical and practical basis. Then analyze each Tano do 2 or 3 water value to understand what happens and if your management method is correct. The wool (your "fleece") is not necessary to change it ... just wash it well under warm water (no soap ... of course!). I bought my one pack of wool I think 5 or 6 years ago ...
With DIY you can do so much, almost everything.

I also believe to be in a panic .... incidentally, I love animals and do not let them die ècerto why I would keep an aquarium.
forgive me, I wrote but I meant razor carbon, ceramic cylinders here. I know, I read that avelo not have to rinse under the tap, which kills the bacteria, but the panic .... were "buried" on junk food. cabbage at the beginning everything was perfect, the guppies were bred, the ancistrus were 2 then one of my neighbors, mentro I was not home, I have inserted three (spotted) in the tank .....
