Video Apistogramma Borelli violet ...
Author: Raffaele Galano - Oct 17
A nice video dedicated to Apistogramma Borelli, a South American dwarf cichlid species less known but still relatively easy to find in stores of aquariums also Italians.
In the video you can see
- the strong dominant purple-blue that makes the body of this fish is very special, a very visible blue-violet, something that lights the color temperature warmer than much less known.
- quite a fight between 2 males, in full parade with fins unfurled the bright colors, including the special red stripes on the snout
- the female of A. borelli, deep yellow with typical black stripe on the muzzle, which has laid in a crevice of the root and then defending the little ones when they begin the first day of free swimming

My absolute favorite dwarf and what I was able to play first.

I can not find it easily when it releases a little 'space in the tank.
Pero 'but' ... you stop provoking me?!?! Look how that ends with trifasciata!
Now I have 2 females in the aquarium trifasciata and a pair of cichlids.
So if you are a male ... prendimelo, I would stop with the little people, but how do these 3 girls alone??
The male I have a swollen eye for a few days ... that I do ... help me, never had more puffy eyes in the past!
To me it 's happened to also have major cases of exophthalmos, and' important to put the sick fish in fresh water, aerated and changed often, in a quiet environment (a tank just for him with so many plants that give away), do not food and treat the tank with a general disinfectant (now around there 'only FaunaMor).

Both in the case of traumatic lesions of infected my fish have always healed well. The fact remains that your aquarium remains a mystery to me. I groped for an idea I would have to make a change.
Ok, tonight I separate it into a hot tub and use the little 'methylene blue that I have left.
