A nice video dedicated to Apistogramma Borelli, a South American dwarf cichlid species less known but still relatively easy to find in stores of aquariums also Italians.
In the video you can see

  • the strong dominant purple-blue that makes the body of this fish is very special, a very visible blue-violet, something that lights the color temperature warmer than much less known.
  • quite a fight between 2 males, in full parade with fins unfurled the bright colors, including the special red stripes on the snout
  • the female of A. borelli, deep yellow with typical black stripe on the muzzle, which has laid in a crevice of the root and then defending the little ones when they begin the first day of free swimming
