feed This blog, like others that I follow and my friends, have a few subscribers to the feed readers ...
RSS feeds are comfortable, virtually supplanted the "favorite" of the browser, enriching them.
Everyone can use, it allows us to follow a site / blog with ease: can we know if something was written (a new post, for example), and having at least when a preview.
Just use a convenient feed aggregator such as Bloglines famous, or those that now come with every browser, including Google Chrome, or another aggregator of your choice, there are many.
Just then visit the site or use the functionality of the aggregator to aggregate the browser to be updated of any new sites that interest you, you are following, you know.
Becomes redundant having to move on so many sites using memory or "favorites" to see if anything has been written. There are portals that publish 10 articles a day and thus deserve a daily visit, but also sites with a new article per month on average. For the latter reading the feed is handy!

So you can, for example, be updated of new articles on Acquariando, without having to physically come to this site. If the feed then read a headline that interests you and come ... click to read quietly.
If you do not read for a week ... just connected the feed this will tell you that on Acquariando are 3 articles were published, for example.

And do not think that they are used only by small sites like this for example ... look at the feeds of the Republic.

In practice, the operations of the Board are to:

  1. open an account on www.bloglines.com
  2. Go Acquariando, for example, or on other sites and look for the link to the feed, usually called RSS FEED or accompanied by an icon similar to the one above this post.
On site acquariando just follow a link from the 2 in the first column on the right, just below the search. The first takes you immediately into Bloglines and then you can subscribe to the feed of this blog post, the second is always nice ... why is the feed that will keep you updated on all the comments on the blog.
  3. subscribe to feeds of other blogs or sites that followed (not 100% of the sites, also very popular, have enabled the feeds, you need to look for them every time). For the Republic, the link can be found halfway down the page, far right, and with the RSS icon next to the word "subscribe".
  4. The next day, after a week, or when you want, then log back into Bloglines (this must be clearly visible among your favorites! You can also create you a link in the browser bar ... you know?) and you will see next to each site a small number indicates the number of new posts / articles / photos / videos that have been published. Click on it and you'll have a preview on the right, if not the entire article.
Then click on the article title that interests you and another page will open the chosen item. :-)
