The temperature in Serretta dedicated to orchids and carnivorous plants is passing very very hot days, and yet manages to keep temperatures at "decent", with humidity at above 60%.

Surely the water consumption has increased considerably (in the saucer of carnivorous plants and other jars), but I managed to go on vacation a week without discomfort to my back constatassi seedlings. It was all a bit 'on the edge ... but still very moist.

Maybe those who are suffering most are the 2 Fittonie, in pots, but without the saucer, which if not watered at least once a week starting to show signs of dryness evident. I think for summer it is better to give a minimum of water below, but something maybe 1 cm.
I'm scared for the next holiday ... 2 weeks later for which I am not sure of being able to provide water and wet enough for all plants. I was not equipped with any system of "spraying" high pressure, dropping it (which I think still insufficient).
Only care is to keep everything wet from the night before, with the highest level of water in the saucers with the largest in almost all the jars of carnivorous, with half-liter bottle as a backup (using the bottom hole in the bottle ... closed, so that it empties only when the water level in the saucer drops below the level of the small hole) and clearly ... cross fingers.

Tropical plants are going pretty well in short, those who seem to be the very best are orchids , for which the humidity really makes the difference, plus the amount of light, in my opinion.
The difference in the state of the roots among those in the greenhouse and in the living room and it is evident. Make life better than those outside the Teca is a real challenge for me ... maybe I still have not found a good system, however well-I do not think they're good ... we'll see if it will bloom next spring!

In the meantime I lost a carnivore, the only example of Heliamphora nutans, but was not feeling well since his arrival from Holland ... I'm sorry and probably ricomprerò in September, but at least this time I do not feel guilty.

Satisfaction, which will document soon, is the flowering of 2 small carnivorous plants : Pinguicola and Drosera Capensis (MINIMUM flowers and violet).
