My small Killifish are growing ... and fast! I am always haunted by the "belly sliders", but I learned a few tricks (thanks Mark) and I seem to be able to get a lower rate in those hatched from the first 2.
However I also read that Austrolebias nigripinnis are among the species with the highest number of births "deformed" between the species of Killi (who started their own luck with this species ... mmmm ... good!)

After the disastrous first hatching, in which 20 of fry from eggs collected only 1, I say one, just one was healthy and the others all belly sliders, 2 subsequent broods regalatemi by an enthusiast, I managed to get almost 40% of healthy and strangely ... 2 or 3 initials BS after a few days have taken the ability to swim in "stable set", ie without the swim bladder problems.

Egg Killi, the magnifying glassKillifish than 20 days: Austrolebias nigripinni (think male ...)

Count: 3 I can count now opened on 9 healthy fish, including one for 3 weeks, 6 fry are now 10 days and a couple only 3 days old. The Killi grow very quickly and, as you can clearly see from the photos, in the space of one week will weigh a lot and change eye 4-5 times more than a newborn fry. They are voracious fish that eat a lot and continuation has obvious desire to grow and probably start to multiply as fast as possible! :-)
